You’ll stay in a single or double room, and we’re happy to add an extra bed upon request. With prior arrangement, you can even bring your pet to the hotel. A Brief History of the Hotel
Our hotel stands on solid ground, thanks to its long history. In 1899, following a major fire, it was built as an inn with a butcher shop and stood the test of time for many decades. After being repurposed for municipal use during the GDR era, the hotel reopened in the early 1990s, initially as a restaurant and later with accommodations as well. Since 1992, travelers have been enjoying their Eichsfeld vacations at our family-run hotel in Wingerode.
